Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry reach agreement
After enduring months of fighting and battling over who should have custody of their daughter, Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry have reached an agreement.
According to Downloads Edge, the pair have confirmed that their relationship is now "amicable," and have reached a formal agreement over custody of three-year-old Nahla.
44-year-old Berry was adamant that the pair are now on good terms; however this could easily change, so the former couple should consider taking ongoing counselling courses in order to ensure they stay friendly, for the sake of their daughter.
As time passes, old issues could arise, so by talking to a counsellor, Berry and Aubry could resolve these issues and work towards having a healthy, friendly relationship for the foreseeable future.
The news of the pair's agreement was confirmed by Berry, who spoke out for the first time publicly about the drawn-out battle.
The Daily Mail confirmed Berry's words, which stated: "It's a relief when you can resolve things in a good way. Our issues were never about fighting for her."
"We both know a child needs both her parents. But what I want to say about it is sometimes, as a couple, you reach an impasse. We need a court and a judge to help us work out some of the delicate issue[s]."
She went on to express her joy at having reached an agreement, concluding: "I'm so happy we've arrived at that place - because for her sake, this is the best way."
